“National's (Roofing Company) performance during the execution of this delivery order was absolutely stellar. This facility is a military biomedical research facility conducting critical research in the areas of chemical and biological warfare defense. Due to the critical nature of the facilities missions there was ZERO tolerance for any activity that could impact the performance of the mission. National met and exceeded this requirement by closely working with the building staff which resulted in NO disruptions due to the construction efforts.

Additionally, due to the extreme complexity of the roof mounted ventilation system, National had to deal with over seven hundred roof penetrations of various sizes and shapes during the course of this project. In response to this demand, National demonstrated a product to the satisfaction of the government that would provide a more suitable and adequate sealing method than attempting to flash these penetrations using the torch applied base flashing originally called for in the Scope of Work. This resulted in a substantial time savings and the elimination of potential sources of water infiltration due to the large number of penetrations present.

National Roofing’s professionalism and commitment to completing this complex and vital project was evidenced by the level of staffing committed to the project and the personal interests taken by both Mr. Mike Barnaba and Mr. Bob Peters, who are senior executives with the company.
